I want a wordpress site (paid themes ok) that is mobile friendly, ie looks good on the iPad, iPhone and Android phones, *and* still looks great on the desktop. Ideally users using these mobile devices would be able to use gestures to navigate the site, ie, swipe to navigate a portfolio, and the theme would support reorientation. It is not important that I be able to administer the site using a mobile device.
I'm finding some themes that are optimized only for mobile (ipad or iphone), or wordpress plugins that supposedly make any wordpress theme look good on a mobile device, but no themes that seem to be designed to look good on the desktop as well as work appropriately for mobile users. I've tried the Onswipe plugin for one of my wordpress sites and it's horrible. Am I missing something? Any advice as to how to best meet these requirements? Seen any good themes that work for all platforms?
