OmniPlan if you want "MS Project on a mac" - or use real Windows MS Project in a dual-boot environment.
As a replacement for MS Project the way I use it, I like these two SaaS web-based offerings: http://teamgantt.com http://tomsplanner.com Disclaimer: I use gantt charts and resource leveling when creating or modifying a project plan - but I do not use them to MANAGE the project or deliverables/deadlines on a day-to-day basis. For that project communication/collaboration portal function, we use Basecamp Classic.
