If you are looking for something simple to use which will not require the team to learn a new software, you can try GrexIt (http://grexit.com) We have been on a 1 month trial with GrexIt and it appears to be pretty well suited for us. It works right from your email inboxes. You can create projects/assign tasks ect right from the inbox. This might not be a perfect fit for all organization, but the simplicity of the tool and the easy of using it right from your inbox makes it a good choice for us.
