I am in active development of a web program called LX. It is a community
web site suite with current functionality including message boards, an
advanced moderator system, many customisations, and other lesser features.
It is also planned to include such features as a link sharing system, news
posting, blogging, private messaging, and more. It is written in PHP5 and
uses an SQL database via the ADOdb database modules <adodb.sf.net>.
A current live site is at <lx.junxie.mine.nu>; active development has thus
far taken place there with its Subversion repository located at
<svn.lx.junxie.mine.nu>.
LX is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2.
Other Software Required:

PHP 5.1 (lower versions are commonly found on normal machines)
MySQL 5.0 (other database support is still being worked on)
