Created an attachment (id=34730) Alternate fix To sum up, what I'd recommend is that we pick up Francisco's patch:
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg- devel/2010-February/005525.html and add the patch attached here on top to properly destroy GLX drawables in the DestroyWindow hook, whether they were created through the compatibility mechanism or glXCreateWindow(). Compared to Jesses patch, this doesn't have issues with reused XID (not sure that it's a big issue though).
