Paul, This is precisely correct. Modern re-interpretation, by modern standards, can be used to change the original meaning and intent of any work, or worse, to insert motivation that was not originally present in the writer. Huckleberry Finn will back me up. Don't see that one in too many schools these days.... --Mike
