The bulk of the Japanese interment camps were in California, but the Japanese were rounded up by the Federal government from Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona in 1942. 





OK Mark, I'll bow to your knowledge in the matter....but I could have sworn that the majority of Japanese in Hawaii suffered no such indignity....are we talking about a small number suspected of enemy dealings?  or large wholesale groups of the population like in California?
