The following is a list of the manuals for the VHF units:
Availability is another thing. Whether I have a copy or not is
still another thing - will know more when I go look ... it is 5am
here and is probably 35 degrees in the library right now.
I looked - the only manual I can locate is

What is probably going to kill your project is the SP01 on the end
of the model number. The SP means Special Production ... meaning
there is probably no way you are going to understand what the
factory had in mind unless you obtain a copy of the orginial SP01
manual that shows the specific changes. Been there / done that.
Any time Motorola made ***any*** changes to a stock product, they
came out with the SP _ _ after the usual model number - and that is
the warning ... translates out to *Watch Out* !!!
It could be as little as a different color face plate to a total
redesign of anything.
