3RS is a good marking for a SMT device. This is a GaAs-N-FET made by Matsushita Denshi Kogyo Co. It is in a SOT-143 package and is of type 3SK184-S. I was unable to find a source of these with Google. I did find that these were a common transistor and also used by Icom and Alinco. These were a high failure Item.
Wish you luck and happy hunting. 73 Glenn WB4UIV At 02:21 PM 01/03/04 -0600, you wrote: >Does anyone have the service manual for the Kenwood 701A dual band mobile. >I just fixed one by changing the 440 front end fet with the 144 front end >fet (they are both the same)....my buddy really just needed his UHF side >working.
