just minutes ago. When it comes to links, the advantages are greater
because you have even more audio shaping/processing going on, and each
little bit sums. It doesn't take long until everyone notices it.

Take a glass of water, and the same size empty glass. Pour them back and
forth as fast as you can (be fast - not careful). You may not lose much
water each time, but after a bit, you will see that the level has
significantly decreased. Most audio circuits are very 'leaky' (using the
same analogy).

I would say, however, that even though you see it over
and over, each time the points are more condensed. :-)
