You must know that Phelps-Dodge has been gone for some
decades now.
Common sense would say your six cavity unit was made for
wideband commercial repeater splits (about 5 meg).
Your picture didn't come through to the yahoo group.
The capacitor/box assembly is probably a method to
add reactance to the probe/loop. You can see what it
really does on a tracking spectrum analyzer.
Harness lenghts are common values, depending on your
probe/loop interface.
You might review some of the seits web site information
to get a better handle on things. Depending on the
Cavity Q and probes, you might be able to use it for
some Amateur applications.
