That's exactly what they did. They just did it on the move with a
doppler unit using continuous triangulation points. I've done exactly
the same thing, but mine only shows on the doppler LED display, not on a
computer. Anyone know what manufacturer made the one shown?
It's too bad they weren't in hilly terrain when you get more reflections
than direct signals. That's where the operator talent comes in -
distinguishing reflections from direct signals. I had never known how
much even 2M will bounce off objects (buildings, hills, etc).
They also had the benefit of a stationary target.
