Thanks thats good news. However in reading all the
conversions and doing so, I run into a small problem. I replaced the xtal in 5c
icom which was stamped 162.600. the instructions in the alignment state to net
the Icom using a freq counter. The freq I am using is 147.975 - 11.2 =
136.78. This number I am NOT able to get at the test point I am to use.
I check the Icom with the other crystal installed and get the number they
stated I would expect ot see.
My question is, is there a way to make a high freq
Icom (162.) work on the (147.), or do I have to t ry and locate a different
Icom?
