Ray,
The first thing that you need to do is get the alignment 
instructions and follow them about 5 times don't worry 
about "netting" the receiver until you get the receiver to work. 
also I would advise to get the information on moding the multiplier 
board and follow it. One change is, you can add the padding caps to 
bottom of the board with the caps that are already mounted on the 
board, there are two that aren't there at all, just clean out the 
holes and add the proper value caps. This is a mod that I have done 
many times with great results every time.
