If I were you, I would look for a Micor cabinet. Not aluminum, but may be
available. Many of these were waterproof outdoor cabinets, the one that I
have has a waterproof air vent on the top. A good source would be
a paging company that is down-sizing their number of transmitters due to
paging customer count dropping off. A paging company up here in
Connecticut just dumped a load of cabinets (with smashed equipment inside)
in a big roll-off dumpster. Asking for a cabinet down your way for a
project might be an option. Some of the cabinets that were used indoors
were actually outdoor cabinets.
