Just stop at any Electrical Supply store and ask about a Weatherproof NEMA Electrical box, going to a Traffic Control box may set you back much more money, unless you happen to find a Box that was discontinued and you have good relationship with a Shop Matienance Electrician, the outdoor box is usually designed to withstand water there are brands like OZ Gendy, Square D, G.E., Dayton ( Grainger ) , just a few names off the top of my head.
