Ray,

The make of the antenna is irrelevant.  The best choice for a jumper,
IMHO, is RG-214.  This should be made up with high-quality connectors to
directly mate your LDF4 hardline to the antenna without any adaptors. 
Adhesive-coated heat-shrink tubing should be used to seal the connectors
to the cable, and bi-seal tape should be used to weatherproof the
connectors.  I sincerely hope that your antenna site does not have any
wind at all, because the Diamond F23A is not an antenna that has a good
reputation for longevity in hilltop repeater service.  As always, your
mileage may vary...
