Well, there are tens of thousands of cellular antennas out there using 1/2" 
hardline for jumpers.  I do it myself on my ham antennas.  The trick is to 
not leave too much slack, just enough to allow movement but not 
vibration.  LDF4050A cable is pretty much the cellular industry standard 
for antenna jumpers.

LMR400 is probably the worst cable to use for a jumper on a duplexed 
system.  The shield-over-foil construction can create noise when it moves.
