in many cases just as difficult as building a Hamtronics kit.

Well, if you ever built any kits from Heathkit or Hamtronics or whoever,
I guess then you really didn't build them either because you bought the
kit of parts from somewhere else. Since you didn't build the parts, I
guess you didn't assemble it into a working unit. Just because you
didn't assemble the whole radio set doesn't mean you aren't building a
repeater.

I have thought about it and you know what? The folks on this list no
longer need you Russ. I have tried to be very objective in considering
your posts, but when you tell me that I'm really not building a repeater
when it takes me several days to properly convert a Motorola Micor to
222, I need to draw the line.
