You'd need the KCT option cable installed along with
the two jumper/resistors reconfigured inside the
radio(s). [the jumper/resistor move is a true test
of your eyesight and hand skills]
Program setup depends on your external controller or
tone panel.
Power would have to be reduced in lock to talk
(repeater) applications and a decent small blower
across the tx radio
(notice I wrote blower and not fan).
