There is a definitive test: stick 'em in the fridge for an hour or so, then 
quickly plug them back in & see if they move less than 2 PPM.

I used to do this, but since my xtals now need power to keep them stable 
I'd have to put the whole radio in the fridge.  Maybe I'll find a cheap 
environmental test chamber at Dayton so I don't have to keep an MVP-sized 
space clear in the fridge & run power wires through the door  ;)
