To remove all doubt, scope the power supply under load, AC coupled,
and if possible, trigger on the switching supply's collector or drain
lead (WARNING, HIGH VOLTAGES PRESENT) With this, I use averaging to
pull out mV level signals that are caused by the power supply, in the
presence of much larger "junk" that isn't.
