Well the switch is running the voltage to the repeater, and trickle charges the batteries until it switches to use the batteries, then charges them back up. I'm open to idea's here. I have four sealed lead acid high capacity batteries that are for the repeater.

Disconnect the crowbar, or put a couple of diodes in series with it's
input so that it doesn't trigger.
Hang an appropriate fuse between the PS and the battery, in case the
PS crowbars, so the battery doesn't dump back into the PS.
The thing is, I don't think your batteries will like going that high.
Why so much loss through the switch? That seems like your real problem.
Then again, why are you using this switch at all?
