I only mentioned it in the context of "what have you changed".

We set the TX to 3kHz deviation on a friend's service monitor.
First we set up the RX, into the RC-210, to get the proper levels at 
5kHz max deviation, then we set up the transmitter to have 3kHz 
deviation when the RX is seeing a 3kHz dev input, and we set the ID 
to 3kHz. (makes it easy to remember..)

I'm pretty confident that nothing has been changed since then, you'd 
have to go through a lot of hoops to get into the adjustments.
