I use Dow Corning # 111 Non Dielectric Grease but do not recommend above 
high band VHF also works
on Low band   . Just a matter a matter of your preference some don't like or 
recommend it but have used 30 years . Have gone back to sites 10 years later 
opened up fittings looked brand new inside.
there is "STUF" Above High Band VHF.
