If you are using a clone RIB, it's possible
that the TTL voltages going to the radio are at the ragged edge of being out of
tolerance. If using a genuine Motorola RIB, try using a separate 12 VDC
power supply for it, rather than the internal battery.
Its a generic, with a new battery..... I'll
try a fresh battery!
