Soooo, the obvious question is: How does one tell the difference between K2
versions 1 and 2? Are they physically the same, with no difference in the
front panel controls? Is there a clue on the data plate, or must I find out
the hard way, when my KPG-66D software hiccups?

You guys are making me think before I have my java...

The kpg-91d software is for current version 2 repeaters.
Version 1 K2 software does not work with version 2 K2
Repeaters.

There are K2 Version 1 and K2 Version 2 repeaters...
