<----The self-resonant transformer power supply in my trusty ol' UHF 
Quintron repeater failed a few years back and I opted to replace it 
with a Samlex SEC1223 (although I did add an extra fan to it). Not 
only did I reduce the weight of the rack by over 40 pounds, the 
Samlex has worked well since. In 4 years use (the repeater runs 90 
watts out), only the silly power switch has failed and there have 
been no issues with RF noise, be it on the repeater, the 430 link or 
the 2 meter remote base.
