I find this very interesting. This repeater ran on Belden 9913 for 7 years with no problems. Same duplexer, same power, same antenna. Please tell me why LMR cable is not good for duplex ops? It is no better or worse than 1/2 hardline. And for a run of 50ft using hardline is just not an option. I have a fiberglass 3db Maxrad UHF antenna on the tower also and am going to switch to this to see if the antenna is the problem. way too many folks disregard the fact that some of us cant afford to buy a DB-404 or something like that and have to use other options for antennas.
