I stay away from Radio Shack connectors whenever possible. I had a PL-259 on a jumper that stripped out when I was tightening it HAND-TIGHT onto an SWR meter once. a real piece of crap. R/S overall quality has REALLY suffered over the years. Shame, too, since the other local electronics supply house just went out of business. :-(
