The only sure way to keep these silly connectors from coming loose is to use Lock Tight! No other way to keep them on when the radio is installed in heavy equipment and farm vehicles. Just make it permanent and when the radio needs to be removed cut the coax and make a pig tale of it with a decent PL259 or N connector.
