Don't bother. For the same money you can get a Kenwood TKR-850, and it will be stable, commercial grade, and, well, not a kit. This sounds like something you want to plug in and pretty much forget about it. The 'made-for-ham' grade repeaters don't fill that need very well. -- Jim Barbour WD8CHL
