But it functions as a 'remotely controlled base station', not a repeater, the way I understand it's operation. It's not repeating from one 2M freq to another that I know of. It certainly would not be an easy thing to do. Now, if it was able to be set up so that the primary control was on a 2M freq-ANY freq, that would not be legal.
