It all depends on motivation and point of view.... which end of the problem you are on. The repeater uses an isolator because he wants to protect his repeater (his investment). The site owner requires an isolator (and the mandatory following filter, usually a pass cavity) to protect the other site tenants from new interference from the new tenant. Mike
