I am in the process of converting an 800 MHz MASTR II repeater to 902/927. I got the exciter converted and it seems to tune OK but the most power I can get out of it is +17 to +18 DBm (50-60 milliwatts) This seems pretty low to drive the 35 Watt PA but I have never done this before so I am not sure. What is the normal drive requirement for a MII 800/900 amplifier? The test set readings seem to be OK, at least mid scale on the 1 volt range. Any advice would really be appreciated.
