Skipp,

Perhaps we should differentiate between the General Electric Transistorized
Progress Line (TPL) mobile radios of the late 60's and the "TPL" rackmount
power amplifiers of the recent decade. Obviously, the term "TPL" is not
universally understood...

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Re: TPL Manual

You should be able to work with a combination of the two manuals
found on the sonic web page... http://www.radiowrench.com
<http://www.radiowrench.com>

The UHF Repeater Manual has a lot of the RXR Information and the
vhf mobile manual has a lot of the proper rf for your unit. There
are variants such as your "SP" (special production) label says
your amplifier is one of... but they all follow a theme.

Some of the details for special version amplifier might be a
hybrid amplifier input for low drive, but I wouldn't expect anything
rocket science new to be installed.

I'd probably get on the the horn (telephone) to TPL and ask if
they can supply one. Otherwise you're doing right to ask around.

cheers,
skipp
