Just imagine it on the input to every UHF ham repeater for about 50 miles radius of the source, and you'll know how annoying it was. :-) REALLY strong signals would almost cover it up. HT users, no chance... they were "woodpeckered" to death. They'd sound fine, but you'd get so annoyed hearing the woodpecker all the time with them, you'd just give up and go do something else more fun. Nate WY0X
