Indeed Nate, 

Reads like my love-hate relationship with Spectrum. The 
power supplies in their repeaters were not so well designed 
and their transmitters had some known issues with the 
wrong type of non-rf rated caps in the final section. 

But I do like Spectrum RF strips and use them when ever 
the can be had cheap, repaired and updated. And of course 
because of their horrible customer service... I believe 
Spectrum is now out of business. 

Dead horses normally get a single beating..
