I'm going to put it back as stock and see what happens with a fixed listening post about 5 miles from me.

Hard to tell in the mobile.

reading 15 watts, but not all the power being read is on the output
frequency. Watt meters are broad banded, you need to look at the output
of the amplifier on a spectrum analyzer.
