You won't be unless you have to carry it somewhere, it's a monster physically. It's an amazing instrument otherwise, the tracking generator makes the tracking generator option in the IFR's I've used look like a toy. Want to sweep from DC to 1gig? Ok, done. The book is very poor, it'll take you a weekend of playing with it to feel comfortable with all of the features.
