OK, let's give this a shot here. I have (tried) to install a CAT 300DXL controller on my 7000. I programed the repeater to turn off all timers, tails, ID's, etc. Turned the repeater button (repeat) off and turned on (remote) button. I programmed the CAT300, EVERYTHING works except the repeated audio doesn't come thru. You can hear the Voice ID, CW ID, everything else over the air. You can even program the(CAT)over the air and it talks back to you as it should. But when someone keys up a radio and tries to talk thru the repeater, their audio doesn't come out! You can turn up the volume on the repeater and hear it thru the repeater speaker, but the radio your listening to on the other end, just sees the carrier and then the squelch tail and can even hear the courtesy tone as it drops out. But no repeated audio. Any ideas? This is a big change from my Hamtronics I have been running for years so I'm lost. I have checked my cable to make sure the pins are correct. Cat 6 to VXR 11 (COR). Cat 10 to VXR 12 (PTT). Cat 13 to VXR 6 (RX audio out). Cat 11 to VXR 3 (TXAudio in). CAT 17 to VXR 14 (ground).
