When you remove the PL Module from the back plane you lose the reverse burst CTCSS (PL) function. What advantage would you have/get from using a TS-32 tone board?
You can download the external controller on an MSR-2000 repeater information from the www.radiowrench.com/sonic web page and it will tell you how to make the repeater operate carrier squelch.
