I do know about and have located lots of FRS, 11m, and MURS Radio Over IP links on the internet, they are similar to echolink "Link" type base stations.
there is one located in Lincoln Nebraska for 11 meters. there are a bunch of PMR stations in the UK that have radio over ip connections to the internet that are publicly accessible. I am interested in why my design won't work. as stated in a few posts I made, I am not really interested in building one. maybe 15 or so years ago I might have, but no more. I am simply interested in the technical aspects of such a project and examples of ones that have been put service. and I should hope that it is hams who build these CB repeaters. I would not to see one that was built by some toothless piece of trailer trash so he can splatter his alcohol driven filth up and down the band with some unfiltered over driven linear. no not much research was done on that specification I laid out. Actually I did want to make a remote 11m base that uses the 900mhz ISM band as the control link. still do, regardless of legalities. everywhere I live seems to be a location that is not very good for getting good radio range and since i am a renter, 100 foot tower is out of the question. ----- Original Message ----- From: "skipp025" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, February 13, 2010 10:45 AM Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Re: 11m Repeater > Re: 11m Repeater > >> n9...@... wrote: >> Don't assume anything > > Probably some of the best advise given on this group. > >>> shield1...@... writes: >>> Let me get this right...you are txing on channel 31 and >>> rxing on Channel 1 in the CB band?
