Very nice project... the only thing that drives me crazy is: "If you haven't guessed I used a piece of CAT-5 cable between the connectors." I hate CAT-5 (CAT-6) cable for jumpers like this... although in the real world I suppose there's nothing super wrong with it. In fact it's probably better than a lot of the other types of el cheapo wire I see used. Just to see the insulation creep up the wire when you heat it with a soldering iron. ...
