Yesterday I finally plugged this MSR2000 in with a dummy load on it. It came on with an open squelch and went right into transmit mode. The squelch control on the squelch gate card did not close the squelch. I cannot find any way to close the squelch. If I pull the squelch gate card out it quiets the squelch.
I hope it is not a defective squelch gate card. Any thoughts? This is my first experience with the MSR2000. Thanks Stan, WA2UET
