This would avoid changing the text each time some new developer starts
or stops contributing to Replicant.

I'm not totally up to date with reguard to who contribute code or
patches, but as I understand you are currently the only Replicant
developer as Paul is busy with other free software projects, and I am
not contributing any code anymore yet.

Your formulation or any of the alternative above are okay and the ack
works for any of them.
