The Systems Technologist is responsible for maintaining and implementing
server and desktop related environments, security and establishes policies
& procedures for IT management against agreed SLAs to ensure service
availability and reliability.
The nature of the position demands a rational person who has generalist IT
skills, and is able to direct the right balance between the use of standard
and non-standard service components and is capable of communicating with
all internal and external parties.
. Act as a local customer contact for services that are outside the scope
of the regular Run & Maintain Support.
. Active role as subject matter expert in server and desktop areas
. Provide IT support in the early stages of projects/complex requests with
regards to implementation of server and desktop technologies.
. Liaise and provide consultancy to End users, Project Leads, Application
Developers, Application Focal Points and Operations teams. Develop
solutions that are in line with the standard services or require new

. Take partial responsibility for the identification of key methodological
or process issues in the team.
. Contribute to maintain a high level of Customer Satisfaction.

and implements the expected services as agreed.
