We have an Urgent opening .Please see the Job Description Below and let me know if you have any consultant available. *Role: **Systems Engineer* *Location:* *Birmingham, Alabama* *Duration: 6+ months* Technical/Functional Skills • 4-6 years server management experience in a large IT environment. • Experience and understanding of various server and storage technologies (Unix, Windows, Citrix, VMWARE, etc.) • Experience and understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server environments. • Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 and Active Directory. • Knowledge of virtualization technologies. • Knowledge of Hardware, Software and various HW Raid configurations (HP server hardware and management tools – C-Class Blades, DL series, Insight Manager, Rapid Deploy, etc.). • Knowledge of DNS, MX records, certificates. • Understanding of MS Certificate Services • Experience with MS Clustering Services (2003 and 2008) • Experience creating simple to complex scripted solutions for various tasks (Powershell, VMScripting, etc.) • Provide on-going training and technical direction to other team members pertaining to system optimization, installation, upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting. • Capable of diagramming with Visio. o Configure and manage appropriate hardware monitoring solutions o Configure and manage appropriate performance monitoring solutions o Establish and document standard policies and procedures Experience Required 5+ *Roles & Responsibilities * • Support for all Wintel and Midrange servers in the enterprise • Participating in disaster recovery tests and planning • Partnering with peers and management to make informed strategic/big-picture decisions • Designing, recommending, and deploying emerging server technologies • Providing support operations of multi-site, multi-vendor environments • Performing standard administration responsibilities including: o Monitoring and providing break/fix support to servers across the enterprise. *Thanks * *Wasim AhmedUnited Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
