> Yeah, it does not hurt to add the checking. But looking at the flow, Abort(
Abort() is part of the public API of a WritableBlock, so theoretically, anybody 
handling a block can abort it. But if we document that Abort() must not be 
called when a block is closed then I suppose we can just CHECK on it or 
something like that. Seems a little fragile, though.
