Change subject: KUDU-3304: [Alter] Support to alter table's replication factor ...................................................................... Patch Set 12: Was talking to Alexey about this offline. In the situation of losing majority of the replicas, let's say 2 out of the 3 replicas are lost, a user might try to reduce the replication factor to 1 to get the table/tablet to run using this tool which might cause loss of data if this replica is lagging behind the other 2.
